Winding Willows
Rooted in relationship. Guided by the nervous system.
Winding Willows was created as a place where children and families can slow down, feel supported, and grow—without pressure to perform or fit into a mold.
We believe development isn’t something to force. It unfolds best when children feel safe, understood, and connected. Every service at Winding Willows—individual therapy, gentle bodywork, and group classes—is grounded in this belief.
Our work centers on regulation first, relationship always, and meeting each child exactly where they are

Meet Claire Campbell
Founder · Pediatric OT · CFT Practitioner · Relationship-Centered
Claire Campbell is a pediatric occupational therapist with a deep respect for the body, the nervous system, and the lived experiences of children and families.
Throughout her career, Claire noticed a pattern: children didn’t struggle because they weren’t trying hard enough—they struggled because their systems were overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsupported. Traditional approaches often focused on “fixing” behaviors without addressing what was happening underneath.
Winding Willows was born from a desire to do things differently.
Claire’s work blends occupational therapy, nervous system education, and gentle, hands-on approaches to support regulation, connection, and trust. She values curiosity over compliance and believes meaningful growth happens through safety, attunement, and relationship.
Seeing the whole child—and the whole family
Why Winding Willows?
At Winding Willows, care is grounded in the belief that children grow best when they feel safe, supported, and understood—and that families are an essential part of that process.
Claire approaches her work through a whole-child lens, honoring the body, emotions, sensory experiences, environment, and relationships that shape development. Sessions are play-based and child-led, responsive rather than prescriptive, and guided by an understanding of the nervous system. The focus is not on quick fixes or compliance, but on supporting regulation, connection, and long-term growth.
Caregivers are welcomed as partners in the process. Education and support are woven naturally into sessions, recognizing that children do not develop in isolation—and that families deserve care, understanding, and community as well.
Winding Willows exists to be a place where children are not rushed, forced, or labeled, and where therapy feels calm, relational, and respectful. Progress is measured in trust, ease, and growing confidence—not just in skills.
Whether families come for individual occupational therapy, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, or group classes through The Nest, the intention remains the same: to support what’s already there and create space for growth to unfold.
