Pediatric Occupational Therapist
About the Role
Winding Willows is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. Our approach is relational, individualized, and grounded in the nervous system. We provide one-on-one care that allows therapists to build meaningful relationships with children and families while using their clinical judgment to support each child’s unique needs.
We’re looking for an OT who values presence, curiosity, collaboration, and care that feels calm, respectful, and individualized.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate children and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide one-on-one, play-based occupational therapy.
- Support areas such as sensory processing and regulation, motor skills, coordination, motor planning, self-care, and participation in daily routines.
- Partner with parents and caregivers to establish meaningful goals and provide practical strategies for everyday life.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment based on each child’s needs.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with other Winding Willows practitioners and members of the child’s care team when appropriate.
- Maintain established caseload and documentation expectations while providing high-quality, individualized care.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current or eligible for Ohio OT licensure.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
- A collaborative, child-centered approach to care.
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with sensory processing, regulation, development, and caregiver education is a plus.
